Geordie is curled up in his leopard-motif bed. Maggie is on her quilt, made by Barb Schuster, who is also responsible for all the Cairn Couture. (Oh, I must update that Terradog sub-site!)
Nun-of-the-Above Cairn Terrier
Sister Mary Margaret ("Maggie" for short), a Cairn Terrier quips, "It's getting to be a habit!" Barb Schuster, "Edith Head" of the k9 set designed these holy terrier threads.

Within ten minutes, Ron, the repairman, trudges throught the room and out the door with a little arachnoid-looking gadget (sans several legs) that is a heat sensor of sorts, and within minutes returns with an identical not-blown-out one.
He plugs it in, we exchange a few pleasantries, and presto: we're $239 poorer. The heat is on, and 70 degrees is so oppressive that I turn the thermostat down to 67. I'm used to it. Or maybe 65 with a blanket and warm socks.
Geordie is still leaping. Ron is here for so short a time that the novelty has not expired.
Then we walk through the 'hood before the rains come. The three of us pause to sample the almost-last of the figs in our neighbor's yard (with permission).
Then we come home. I do some pilates, and the Cairns do their yoga, which is pretty much limited to the poses named for their species: Downward Facing Dog
and Upward Facing Dog flawlessy, natch.
À Demain,
